In 2006, he was recognized for his exceptional artisanship with the very esteemed and celebrated Shilp Guru Awards 2006 by Pratibha Patil. Back in 1991, he was also handed the National Award by Shankar Dayal Sharma.
His beautiful artisanship and his immaculate dedication to his craft made him a nation-wide known name as he was awarded multiple certifications and awards like the Talent Certificate By Rajasthan Government, Kalavid Title, Gaur Ratna Title, and 24 other esteemed awards throughout his life.
