According to Vastu, the ideal spot is the Ishaan (north-east) corner of your home mandir or living area — the most spiritually receptive quadrant of the house. Place the murti three to five feet above the ground so the deities meet you at chest height during pranam, with the idols facing east or west and the devotee facing east while worshipping. Avoid the south direction, bedrooms, spaces directly under staircases, and any wall shared with a bathroom. Never let your feet point toward the idol while sleeping or sitting.

A Yugal murti carves Radha and Krishna together on one continuous marble block — they may be embracing, holding hands, or standing shoulder to shoulder under a common base and canopy. A Jugal Jodi is two separate murtis carved individually and placed side by side, allowing you to install a taller peacock arch or jhula between them and to move each idol independently during abhishekam and vastraharan. Both forms are traditional; the choice depends on your mandir width and how you plan to perform daily seva.

Every PLPS Radha Krishna statue is hand-carved to order, so poses (standing tribhanga, dancing rasa-lila, seated jhula), Krishna's crown and mor-mukut style, Radha's pallu drape, and jewellery detailing can all be adjusted to your vision. For colour work we use mineral pigments that do not fade for the lehenga, pitambar and eyes, and offer 22-carat Swarna Karya gold-leaf application on crowns, ornaments and the flute. Send a reference photograph or a rough sketch and our artisans will draft a stone-marking preview before carving begins.

A 1-2 foot standard Radha Krishna murti in white Makrana or Vietnam marble typically takes 30 to 45 days from the day the stone is selected. Larger 3-6 foot pieces, or statues with detailed painted lehenga, extensive gold-leaf work, or a carved peacock-arch canopy, take 60 to 90 days. Every commission passes through Shila Pariksha (stone inspection), Rekhankan (sacred marking), carving, Chikni (hand polishing) and optional Swarna Karya. Domestic shipping across India takes 5 to 10 days; international freight with full insurance is 15 to 25 days.

For daily care, dust the statue gently with a soft dry cotton cloth or a fine natural-bristle brush, paying attention to the flute holes, jewellery grooves and the folds of Radha's lehenga. Once a week wipe with a barely damp cloth using plain water — never use soap, vinegar, lemon, or commercial marble cleaners, as acids etch the polish and dull the surface. After abhishekam, dry the murti immediately. Avoid direct sunlight through a window (which can yellow the marble) and re-polish with fine chalk paste every two to three years.
